You’re right, coach. When I think “accountability,” I think Michigan State.

Or it could accelerate the arrival of the time you spend being miserable.  Diabetes is a bitch.

After the terrible Blurred Lines decision, lawyers would line up around the block to take this care on contingency (if they thought he had a case).

Except, “This is America” was recorded a year before “Pharaoh” according to Glover’s manager.

Fair enough, but what about when you consider the artificial scarcity of a mass produced product primarily marketed to and consumed by those who can least afford it?

I’m having a really hard time with the use of the word “culture” around a hobby rooted in an industry that has always been about multi-billion dollar corporations charging hundreds of dollars for something that cost a couple bucks for people who are essentially slave labor to put together in an overseas sweatshop.

The Black Israelites are a known crazy, they are there almost every day. The answer is to ignore and not engage, as people do everyday. The answer is not to form a mob and surround them like a bunch of bored, entitled brats. This situation was created wholly by these kids, they need to own up to it.

I still see a huge group of like 100 kids who could have walked away at any moment and yet gleefully escalated at every turn. All because they don't have the maturity to ignore the crazy street preachers

It makes about as much sense for a professional athlete to have conversations with strangers about the professional athlete's work product as it does a commercial airline pilot. The stranger more than likely has no fucking idea what needs to happen to produce an excellent result, and can only tell whether the 737

I’d never heard of nor seen these two before today. Different people have different interactions and histories with pop culture.

I almost feel like Ted took the wizards as a favor to Abe Polian or something, like to save them from being under Dan Snyder.

I think one thing is clear: Ted Leonsis doesn’t care about the Wizards anywhere near as much as he does the Capitals.

Damascus is a public school.

Antonio Gates is also only 6’4”. He’s barely tall enough to be a point guard. Gronkowski is 6’6” and he looks like an adult among children on the field. He would be below average size at any given moment on an NBA court.

There’s a place near Hopkins in Baltimore called Tambers. I believe it was a ho-hum nifty fifties-style diner, but at some point it was sold to new ownership who started to offer pretty decent Indian food alongside that American diner food.

Come on, the NFL as a basketball team would get utterly humiliated in the NBA. They would easily be the worst team in league history. Do you know what Antonio Gates is? A shitty power forward who couldn’t make it in his sport of choice and ended up living the dream in the NFL. If he could, he probably would have stuck

Yeah, we forget how instinctual things are. It’s easy for me, a guy with no athleticism or skill at all to say “he could have just waited for the ball to come down and taken him down with a bear hug”. But these guys practice all the time, decisions are made in a fraction of a second. He made the wrong one, but I get

But WHO DECIDES during and even BEFORE a season which teams are ranked or not? That’s where the skewing begins, with preseason polls that overinflate the value of overhyped teams and conferences that turn into dog poo by Week Three of, you know, ACTUAL GAME PLAY.

Look, debating the merits of UCF is fun and all, but the essential point is that you can’t have a sport where a team can go undefeated and not even get invited to the playoffs. That’s just a fundamental flaw in the system there.
