I’ve liked the 4 button layout a lot. Plus it’s used as a stand-alone controller, which would be blah if it was a D-Pad.

I’m always surprised people feel this way. I grew up on Nintendo D-Pads so I’m certainly used to them, and I still think that the four-button layout of the Switch is superior. I accidentally input the wrong direction quite frequently with a true D-Pad, pushing on the “right” direction but tilting it “up” on accident.

I argued to have the Cats trailer in the Best and Worst categories. Because it is beyond good or bad. It is... life itself.

Not sure which IndieWire thing you’re referring to but HBO dropped the updated list of panelists on Preview Night of the con, D&D were scheduled to be there before then.

I don’t even know why Game of Thrones had a panel honestly. Let it sit for a year before coming back with The Long Night.

Can there even be a class action or did we all stupidly sign our rights away in the EULA?

At least they're inexpensive as far as controllers go. /Sarcasm

Apple boots definitely do.

“We have released a new system update for Nintendo Switch which may address the ‘drifting’ issues some users are experiencing with their Joy-Con.  In order to update to the latest system version, you must also agree to our new terms of service which includes an arbitration clause.”

Yeah dumbass owners, stop using the product in a way they intended it. No boots get licked like Nintendo boots.

Your guarantee isn't worth the time it took you to write out. You should be sent to the greys, trash.

Oh please dude. Just because you're not having a problem and are a Nintendo slave doesn't other people don't deserve a solution. I don't have the issue either but I can admit there is OBVIOUSLY a problem.

You are ridiculous for your comment. Your families systems happen to be the few that didn’t have the issue, but to make a claim that so many people dont know how to take care of their systems is complete bull dong. When does a handful of People speak up for hundreds of people with complaint of this same issue?

This stinks of a PR move in the event the class action lawsuit gets far enough to be a problem for them and nothing more. If they are aware of the reports, then their response is certainly sub-standard. At this point, they should be announcing that every single Joy-Con sent in for this issue, if it’s determined to

Not to mention that the NES and SNES controllers are still some of the most reliable gaming peripherals even 20, 30 years old! What happened to that build and design quality?

Nintendo, I love you, truly, but that response is not acceptable. I did exactly that. And then I called your support number. And I was told my Joy-Con was out of warranty and I paid you $40 to repair it. You were nice enough to waive the $10 shipping charge, at least. And then I was without a Joy-Con for a week. And

Comes to an electronics blog and criticizes people for demanding that the electronic product they paid for works correctly.

If any game deserved to be priced at $80, it was The Witcher 3, and yet they still made a shit ton of money at the $60 price point. The $59.99 price tag is not the problem. The insane salaries of these CEOs and the demands of stockholders is. Bobby Kotick is the devil of the games industry, but he’s hardly alone in

A game that can charge whatever it wants and still sell 10 million. Once one does it successfully, ALL will do it henceforth. And that’s cool with me. These massive, 20-80 hour games have gotten so affordable that I tend to buy too many and never give them the time they deserve. Let’s adjust.
