I personally didn’t like Supergirl Season 1 much, felt it was too cheesy and most of it’s feminist messages were too on the nose for me. The romcom mixed with a procedural set in the DEO style didn’t help either. Given that, are there enough changes in it’s second season that someone like me should give it a try?

If that’s true, that’s even sadder. DC should not treat TV as second hand grounds. Their movies come once every 6 months or so, but their TV shows are what keep people hooked up to the TV characters and when you mistreat a medium you mistreat it’s followers.

I didn’t think of her before, but I think she would be perfect. She can bring that power and conviction in her performance that one expects of someone like Capt. Marvel. I really do hope it goes through.

I doubt they would even acknowledge any events from Agents even in the Inhumans movie. This fuckup is my one but major complaint from the MCU.

No, though CBS does own a significant share in CW. Nevertheless the co-operation is not easy, even if the people want to do it. No one wants to dilute their own property, so there are problems regarding screentime sharing, who defeats the baddie and such things.

Just awesome, justice league for the small screen. I bet DC didn’t allow them the use of the title. I loved this season of Flash, hated Arrow, but this makes me super-excited regardless. Wondering what Captain Cold’s position would be. Also, are Barry and Oliver going to be present for any of the future…

I am just asking an if question based on all the interviews. And the way the showrunners were talking, it was as if the hindrance to Supergirl’s presence in this universe is less about continuity and more about the network’s willingness to co-operate.

I liked the flashbacks in season 1, and there were a few episodes in season 2 where I liked the flashbacks more than the present day story. Though the season 3 flashbacks seemed to be just a ritual they had to get over with!

Most of the io9 people I see here seem to have been enjoying this season, and I am really happy they had a good time. For me the happy thing about this was it ended, and that too in such a close ended way that I have no qualms about leaving the show.

After all those badass fight scenes of Skye, it was good to see how bored May was fighting with Skye, until she sucker quaked her to the ground. May is still the boss.
