BTW, you get your PS4 yet? If so, enjoying it?

Nice chart, it solidifies my thoughts so far. Console gaming is growing. I remember it was supposed to be on its way out after this generation. M$, Ninty, and Sony may feel differently though.

Wonder if its because we have more gamers than we did 7-8 years ago. Would makes sense.

Don't forget EA's cluster of Sim City!

Out of 3 million? That's better than 360's over 50% (pretty sure it was higher) failure rate even years post launch.

Biggest Sony console launch of all-time, outsold first day PS2 purchases.

I'll be upset if this isn't the actual review.

Even though I grabbing an X1, this was pretty funny. "Remember that incredible kinect game?"

I would pretty much stop visiting Kotaku for the next two weeks if that happened. Wait for all the blood and dust to settle down.

That is the least bad thing from them, I still wait for a day when Westwood return to take back the Command & Conquer franchise.

I already have the PS4 pre-ordered.

I lol'd. It's the perfect review for it. Best part is it IS more expensive, it IS less powerful, you CAN only play Ghosts in 1080 using your PS4, and Kinect games really are the pits. Of course, it doesn't touch on pros like the TV input and... ok, legitimately drawing a blank. Back me up?

this is coming from the company which purchased origin systems (wing commander 1-3, freelancer, privateer, ultima online), shut down all projects but ultima, killed the studio when ultima ran it's course, and then reused the name in their shitty software package.

fuck EA... crashing your 360 is about the least bad

Haha they have origin discounts on the back of mcdonalds receipts haha

And posting comments on Kotaku, (a site focusing on video games) somehow solves starvation?

What's the treadmill for?

Word is the person first in line to replace Steve Ballmer as CEO of Microsoft is planning to ditch both the xbox and bing.

That is not too far fetched if you consider that the Dreamcast was only on sale for less then 2 years; relevant because the Dreamcast was Sega and Microsoft's partnership to bring the DirectX API

No reason to buy a XboxOne is you are a PC gamer. Seems like Microsoft is bringing all their 1st parties to PC.

That's what happened to me. After the second RROD I switched to PC gaming, and later bought a PS3 for console-only titles and PlayStation exclusives. Both 360 hardware failures happened just after the one year warranty ran out...

I gotta say, if I had an Xbox 360 and it broke down a second time, I'd probably switch to Playstation for the next gen.
