I think the 1+ million PS4 pre-orders would suggest that people don't have next-gen fatigue. Wii U needs a new Zelda game very badly, but that alone won't save the system IMO.

It is widely accepted that the launch of the PS2 was the nail in the coffin for Sega's Dreamcast.

The "re imagining" of the characters is unnecessary and poorly done. The newest character reveal looked like a Mortal Kombat reject. You can literally look away from the screen and button mash combos. It seems like Microsoft thinks the only people that will buy the system are so dumb that they can't remember moves.

I love my Dreamcast too. The Wii U is going to get crushed by the PS4, just like Sega got crushed by the PS2.

All they had to do was start with a badass HD remake of the original and sell a quality arcade stick for it. I should thank Microsoft. They saved me over $500! I should send Steve Balmer an Edible Arrangments.

The Wii U version on any game worth playing is highly unlikely.

I'm getting the PS4, so I'll get it once the timed exclusivity runs out and PS4 gamers get the Ultimate Edition.

The XBOX ONE will not work with standard USB hard drives. It must be the official Microsoft drive or the ONE won't recognize it. It is built into the hardware. Another great idea from the minds of Microsoft.

I made it to PAX this year and was lucky enough to play some upcoming games.

I look forward to buying the official and proprietary 1TB external hard drive for a very reasonable price.

YES.

I can't stop watching him laugh!

DUH!

You could sell your physical copy for more than that.

Maybe so, unless they sold the digital download card at retailers as well. I suppose digital is meant for those with agoraphobia.

I'm so glad this game didn't get cancelled. This feels like the closest thing I'll get to a dirty Costume Quest 2.

If the industry wants us to bite on digital copies of the game why don't they make the digital version at least $10 cheaper than the physical copy? I'd rather wait and have something I can put on my shelf and/or sell later.

Nintendo really doesn't have any killer apps that would entice me to buy a Wii U over over a PS4. I really love my regular Wii, but the true next gen is really going to overshadow this console. The Gamecube is going to look like a huge success compared to the U.
