I was just in Vermont after a big dump of snow and some ice. I have decent all seasons on an AWD SUV and was going the speed limit. Truck bro comes up on my ass with another truck bro right behind him on his ass. I didn’t budge but just as he decided to pass me in a no passing zone I saw 3 huge Buck Deer crossing the

I had to take my Dad’s 1986 Chrysler New Yorker to use for my driver’s test because the only other car was a huge boat - Olds Cutlass Supreme wagon. I don’t remember him having too many issues with the car but I do remember taking it out after I got my license, picking up a friend and promptly backing the car into a

Makes sense, but then I question what if parts are needed? It’s not like they can get the parts any easier than a Tesla service provider. I wonder if at least a portion of the revenue stream is just looking at the car for the customer, charging a fee to look and then sending them to a Tesla dealer with the knowledge

Kid Icarus was the toughest freaking game at the time... then I got Ghosts N Goblins on the Genesis and I think that was even harder to beat... somehow my Brother did beat GNG though, if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes I would never have believed him.

I did but I missed that one. Plus Nintendo Power wasn’t even out yet when I got my Nintendo. I was number 5001 in the US to get one - found that out when I registered the warranty.

I had no idea and I first played Super Mario Bros in 1985 so this is information that would have been nice to have had back in the day for sure!

Sounds easy, right?

Yep. $1.2 mil is nothing to some dealerships and even small ones can get a loan for a reasonable cost monthly that won’t kill profits too much I’m sure.

I can’t help but think of all the land some dealers own just to store inventory. But honestly a shrewd business owner should be thinking now about how to use those DC chargers as incentives for people to come to their dealership and oh by the way we have a full shopping plaza with restaurants etc while you charge. If

Been waiting to see if this would really pan out. If I’m not mistaken, this comes out around the same time that the EV incentives start to go to where you can transfer the rebate to the dealer as part of the sale too, so sign me up for the fully loaded one thankyouverymuch!

Exactly. They priced these way above what they should have and the only reason is because of that tax credit. If they make them the prices they really should be they will sell a shit ton of them!

My point is Dodge shoppers are not going to be Alfa shoppers, nor vice versa.

Unless the Alfa is going to be similarly priced (I am not seeing any pricing yet on AR’s site) I doubt too many people are going to pick the Dodge INSTEAD OF the Alfa so they shouldn’t be too concerned about losing sales. I think anyone looking at an Alfa knows they want something different from Dodge at least.

Is it a coincidence that this comes out the same year that the EV tax credits will finally be allowed to be turned over to dealers as part of your purchase? I think not!

I have had this in all my cars since 2003 at least.

I think they could save money AND save their workers by getting each driver a personal air conditioner. One of those little Sony rechargeable units plus a fan in the truck. Problem solved but would they do it? This is one of the reasons why we put ice water and snacks out in a cooler for our drivers. It’s the least we

Only good thing, I guess, about owning a couple Hyundais with “the bad engines” is at least those engines won’t send shrapnel at me in an accident and both cars do NOT contain Takata airbags because Korea hates Japan.

Yep, you are correct. I know it’s out there too because somehow my old credit card number was used at a harley dealership in el paso and I live nowhere near Texas. I say old credit card number because I since had to have a new card sent and go thru the process of changing it everywhere - with the exception of T-Mobile

Here is what you do... Take the $6K right now and go sell the car as it’s still likely worth more used at this time than it will be any time after now. Just take the money, sell the car and be done.

Glad you checked the assumptions here. Only thing that bums me out a bit is that ultimately it would cost me more than gas, even with today’s prices, to charge up an EV in 2 hours than it costs me to fill up my tank. A full tank lasts me a week or so. A full EV battery would last me a bit less than that so it does, on
