A friend of mine’s boss owns a model X and my friend was allowed to borrow it to run an errand. He was embarrassed by the fact that he had to call up to his boss to ask him how to get the damn doors opened, so there might be a learning curve to begin with, but I cannot say since I have no personal experience there. I

Reminds me of the “broom lady” we had in Columbus, OH. This was years ago but everyone had eventually had some kind of run-in with her. She would stop in the middle of the road and if you beeped at her she’d get angry and wave one of those hand sized brooms at you. Sometimes she’d already be doing the broom-waving and

All I can think about now is the roach infested cars I’ve rented in Hawaii over the years... Pro tip: Just get a can of Raid as soon as you land and rent your car, you’ll thank me later. Also, do NOT leave any food or especially soda in your rental car in Hawaii and maybe you’ll never have a problem and can help keep

I miss two cars. First car was a 1980 Camaro RS. Loved it but traded it for a 1986 IROC-Z28 with T-Tops. I’d be happy to have either one of those back! But to also be 16-19 years old again would be even better!

Let’s be honest. This was dropped in order to show North Korea what they are messing with if they test a nuke.

Who wouldn’t like a little bung? LOL

I have a 2013 Sonata and I am happy with it too. But that blue light is the bane of my existence. Especially when my wife and I go to the drive in theater and there is no way to turn it off without turning the car off completely.

Wow, I would have thought that a large delivery truck would come first. I was imagining Electric UPS and Fedex trucks from Tesla, not full-on semi trucks. But this suggests they will have some serious range, so, awesome!

“You mean you have to use your hands?”

the glare of the traffic light in the pic doesn’t help, but if you look closely at the dashboard pic, you can make out a speedometer. Looks like an analog looking one but I bet you can choose, which would be nice.

Curiosity got me. Ebay has some keyfobs upwards of $500 so you’re absolutely right!

How much just for the keys? It’d be about as close as I’ll ever get to owning anything that has Lamborghini on it.

I want to know how many Subaru’s are sold in Vermont every year. I went to Vermont for Christmas and I’d swear that everyone who lives there drives a Subaru.

Yeah when you’re talking about pulling the extra weight of batteries which are not actually giving you the full benefit of that extra weight.

Last time I was in CA my wife and I were in some traffic in downtown San Fran when I realized I needed to get over 1 lane to be in the lane that would take us up to the freeway entrance. Now this was low speed and I put my blinker on and checked all blind spots and made my move. Next thing I know this guy on a

This is how the IT industry works in a nutshell. They’ll sell you some hardware “cheap” (It’s still probably 10k) then you can add software licenses for everything on top of that for 20-30 more k. So like if you want a firewall with basic functionality you’re in for about 30K to start but if you ALSO want that

3. faraway future’s car is coming in 2020 to DECIMATE ALL

Agreed. I will try to find it but somewhere out there is video of a shooting range full of expert shooters and a drone gets thrown in front of them all. It was surprisingly tough to shoot the thing down. Eventually they did but it took a boatload of ammo to do it. Now a net might be easier but it’s still not likely to

It’ll be in the bargain bin by XMAS from what I’m hearing about complaints. Just tell the kid to wait for Santa to bring it.

Go watch any 70's or 80's movie that has footage of a plane taking off. Just look at how much fuel is wasted in that takeoff compared to any plane takeoff you can see today. Fuel efficiency has definitely taken precedence and that is not a bad thing, but, who doesn’t want to go faster?
