Yeah, Bjorn Rebney is seen as more circus ringmaster then legit promoter in a lot of MMA circles but he’s definitely got more credibility in the industry than Kawa, who barely has a better rep than Edmund Tarvdaryan.

I don’t see how it could be about a new promotion; all those guys except GSP are currently under contract from the UFC (and I think even that is debatable!). The union thing is the only thing that makes sense, it will be very interesting to find out more details.

Yeah, the “forgotten manufacturing workers” narrative ignores that the manufacturing jobs shipped overseas were disproportionately held by blacks. Why didn’t they vote for Trump in record numbers like the white people did? It’s impossible to overlook that “THEY took your jobs” played to some poor people and not others.
