@AmphetamineCrown: He left out a step. You have to heat the skillet first. When I do steaks I max out the skillet in the oven (575 is my max), steak in on the burner, couple minutes per side, back in the oven. It crusts right up.

I don't know about this... I get a thick crust on my burger by flipping once. My meat is never unevenly cooked, I mean it's a hamburger, unless you are making a 1lb'er I don't see the issue.
@destryer: It's the same in Linux, OSX, and Windows. I've been running Linux since 97 and while it's a great OS it fails epically on the desktop. Webservers, ldap, print, and the like is another story.
@Tracer: That is a GREAT list! Wow... Thanks man!
@iSmithx_reloaded: I use Great News.
@Thibault: It's buried. If you go to your profile you can see it is still listed.
I'll believe it when I see it!
@TheFu: I'm in the process actually, my state has free money (granted it's my tax dollars, but whatever) up for grabs to go back to school when you are unemployed. The ball is rolling... ;)
Even though I was laid off I still try to get up early 6:xx to stay in the habit.
Te be completely honest when I meet or see a woman glasses are one the last things I notice.
@That-One-Person:Says the kid with the iPhone and a netbook.
Google's interfaces aren't that good in my opinion. That's not to say that they don't do exactly what they need to, but they lack pizazz and in many cases much needed contrast.
@DevourerKwi: If you lie on Turbo Tax you will get a similar return.
@SpriteMV: Many of us have been using it for ages. While it isn't the cheapest I have never once been screwed and it's always been right on (I always double check which to date has been a waste of time).
@PurpleMonkeyDishwasher: They offer discounts if you have a Sears card, BoA, Schwab, and others. The discounts range from 25% to 40% (or maybe it was 35%, I forget).
@AmphetamineCrown: I have and the results are great, but the crust isn't as good. If the wife and I both didn't love rare-medium rare I would definitely be going that route and still do if people want well done steaks (if they do I give them lesser cuts), but putting cast iron in the coals does give you some seriously…
While it's great for fish I just couldn't live without the taste gained from an open fire unless it's the dead of winter. I just wish my grill would go up to 1500 degrees... I do put a cast iron skillet in the coals however.
@grewal12: I did clean it up and those are the only 3 addons I use in OSX (I don't want to disable them, I just did to test). Windows used to have the same problem but as I said 3.6 has been great.
@tbbx: I could, but I don't want to look yet as it's going to be depressing.
1st vote... NO!
