Oh one other thing I forgot... You can set your network share as a "media server" (that term could be wrong, the thing that indexes your content) and it will never loose the connection no matter who the master browser is.

If the focus of your streaming is video you have housed on a box at home the WDTV is your best bet. It pretty much sucks at everything else, but playing videos without the need to transcode is the one reason I have 2 of them.

The WDTV will play anything without the need to stream video to it and that is one thing it does better than anything else listed (and why I have 2 of them).
