@TheFu: I only have 22 physical to deal with, but it's a requirement. The DC runs thousands of VMs and they have been dying to get my boxes in there, but you can't run phone lines, audio cables, and serial back to the studios from there. Not to mention the app won't run visualized anyways and the DC is virtual only…

@DustbinK: It's been an issue for years, you would think by now they would be able to manage memory better. Would you accept a server application using up 2x-4x more ram than it needs? How about if Windows started using 2gb of ram and not freeing it? That wouldn't fly.

@Tobias104: Indeed... Firefox is normally sucking up 600-800mb of ram which is no big deal at home, but on my work lap which has 2gb of ram, it's kind of a big deal. #browsers

@monster_eater123: They shrunk Aero's footprint and moved most of it off of the graphics card which is why so many people see a vast improvement with Aero enabled. #windows7
