Let me preface this by saying I was bitching about the ads in the games, I understand the apps are free and have no ads.

I was just reading over on Ars that the apps they have up right now are few, but the games all have ads (but are free)...

@semperfi1776: Well technically they innovate less because it's cheaper and as such they make more. I would hope that the big 3 were a good enough example as of late (in truck/suv anyways)...

@TheFu: If you exported the keys related to those apps sure. If you did the whole registry though it would go nuts with errors because anything that's missing would cause a fault.

@TheFu: Thanks man (I think lol)!

@cu_shane: He also talks like 1% is no big deal. A point is serious money...

@TheFu: You can copy/move the folder, but more often than not the apps won't work because they store dll's and the like in the system folder.

I still want to know what this "650gb user data set" was... Maybe it's just me, but when I hear the words "data set" I do NOT think of music, videos, and pictures.

@dougdeep: ARMs are a great option, but honestly I look at them like credit cards. If you can't manage your credit cards an ARM is a very bad idea because a successful ARM requires a responsible person with good credit.

@virgilstar: Nice! Always good to hear back from someone else with a brain haha ;)

@TheFu: I'm with ya man, I bring my lunch every day however and never eat boxed food unless I just have that itch that only Kraft Mac n Cheese can scratch (yea I know home made is better but it's just not the same).

@TimGossett: I'm still using Money because of the lack of manual options in Mint. I like Mint, just doesn't work for me (yet)...

I think it's great news for everyone. It should also ensure that features we have all been hoping to see come into Mint will (or so we can hope).

Intuit has their sights set on Mint and it sounds like they are selling out (I sure as hell would).

The thing that got me when I read this the other day was that the one "super user" has 650gb of user data. I'm still not sure what that user data actually is as the article just calls it a "data set", which to me is not pictures, music, and movies.

4.5%? Ehhh... That is pretty high unless you buy a POS. I had some pretty serious basement issues (drain tiles failed) and I'm still running at about 2% on a house from 1919. Sure I could be an outlier, but I doubt it. I mean $9,000 per year on a $200k house is nuts.

I still use a first gen Nano for music and my phone (a rant) does everything else that I need. It does have a player, but it's crap and I just flat out don't like it. The Nano is small but I've always kept playlists that fit so switching the music is quick and easy and keeps me for sorting through tons of crap that I

@Dr. Vrein: You are in a serious minority that's for sure. With how cheap they are there really is no reason not to have one especially since they are cheaper than home phones (unless you go the skype/magic jack route obviously).

I quit using Litestep in I think the late 90's and tried it again maybe 2 years ago, but at the time I was relying on Haute Secure and it would flake out if you weren't running explorer. Since Haute was bought out and died I might have to give it another go.
