No bet. The spread is too wide on potential supply chain failures or a major design flaw showing up vs enough attention to detail neither happens and they go to three shifts to meet demand.

What is the deal with this “ask and answer” format of article publishing? This shit seems lazy af, like a Buzzfeed listicle harvested from the comments section
I would travel to the ends of the earth to find a good car blog that isn’t ruined by stupid slide shows and 27 ads per article with auto-playing video ads.
This is about FOUR DOOR cars. Two doors are not expected to have roll-down windows in the back. A four-door is.
They’ve already bothered to add weights to the steering wheel, keep the belt buckled, and not open any doors in order to pull off this stunt. Adding a bag to the driver’s seat to trick the seat sensor is not going to stop anyone who has already done those other things.
“The shipping times from this eBay seller in Egypt are crazy sporadic, but they've got the best prices anywhere!"
If they’re considered abandoned after 2 months, that’s the same for the cargo, so they can check out what's in the containers, right?
This level of speed was only available to a few exotic owners just a decade ago, and now we have family cars that feature “ludicrous” speed. Which is aptly named, because that is indeed ludicrous speed.
If the car wasn’t on autopilot, or it’s “self-driving” mode, that means the driver was alive after the impact and climbed into the back seat. I’d suspect that the door latches failed and he scrambled to the back seat to try to break the back windows open with his legs.
Facebook Marketplace pisses me off because I refuse to use Facebook, and that’s where everybody sells their cars. Craiglist is basically empty at this point. If there was some roundabout way of viewing Marketplace listings without an account and without them knowing I’d love that.
I always get that one anecdote that someone can still find a beater for under $1000.
Housing is going through the roof also. Used cars are going up in price in part because people would rather have a bigger more luxurious car than a new car of smaller size. Hopefully there will not be general increase in inflation, just the big ticket items that you haggle over.
Repeatedly.
Definitely a face that only a congressman taking defense contractor kickbacks could love.
WOW. Someone hit that with the fugly stick, HARD.
Mustang is offensive to horses and appropriates their identity...Lamborghini models are offensive to fighting bulls, and don’t get me started with Jaguar. Pontiac was offensive too to Native Peoples, why was its name never changed?
I’m on the unofficial Micro Center discord for Houston and we have people who send out alerts for ps5 drops and often buy them to sell to others for msrp plus tax in order to reap in those airline miles and prevent people from going to scalpers. I don’t know how other cities are handling things, but in Houston we are…
At least he didn’t burn down Notre Dame cathedral.
That is an awesome pic - maybe Sabine Schmitz' grandmother behind the wheel there.
I don't think it's a selfie because the girl wasn't the photographer.
