I use Airplane Mode every day at work since I don't get service in my building. I can still use apps (that don't need data) without my battery getting drained searching for a signal all day.

Would you be able to tether a Android-based phone (e.g. Evo with PDA Net) to the WebOS? Or can tethering only go Android-to-Android?
