“What no? Why? She’s too young!!” My inner reaction anytime anyone I know who is younger than me gets pregnant. I’m 31. I know at this age it’s not normal, but it’s just what goes through my head. My husband got the snip, and it was the best decision we’ve ever made, but I still worry about it sometimes.
Haha I’m a similar age and one of my colleagues just went on mat leave and she’s the same age as me. When I found out she was prego my (inner) reaction was “oh no what is she going to do?” and then I remembered that she’s an adult in a long term relationship with a full time job and this is what people do.
Or pumping 4 to 8 times a day and 15 to 45 minutes per session. I estimate I’ve put about 600 hours on all my pumps combined so far. Which equates to 25 DAYS worth of pumping, or 11% of my son’s life so far that I’ve spent being milked like a cow. No, these things are not built for that kind of use.
Fair enough. I’ve got that too, but I’ve learned to be content with chipping away at large games. I think it took me a year and a half to finish The Witcher 3, and I was okay with that.
Take all the guns.

If it’s a consolation, you can get a 2nd-hand PS4 for relatively cheap these days, and a lot of good games for cheap too. I got a week or so ago and it’s been totally worth it. There’s a whole lot more than RDR2 to be found.
that’s true, it just leaves me wanting more usually!
Yep, same here. I played the original on PS3 and loved it, but I can’t justify a new console when I just built a PC last year and it’s been great for literally everything else I want to play.
make the jump man
Rockstar is really leaving money on the table by not doing a PC port for so many of their games. After watching The Warriors again for the first time in a decade or so a couple weeks ago, I had a moment of excitement in which I remembered Rockstar did a brawler based on the movie. Sadly it does not appear to be…
30 Rock is getting tougher to re-watch too! Damn consciousness-raising.
Same. Why is it so hard to just find a spoiler-filled plot synopsis so I can know without ever having to see?!?!
I got a flue shot, so at the very least I’m protected from too much gas buildup.
We call ourselves Curious Chickens, and we demand that the Spoiler Space be posted immediately.
I’ve read the synopsis of A Serbian Film but can’t ever imagine sitting through it. Knowing someone’s brain was fucked up enough to write that thing is enough for me. Actually that’s not entirely true, I’ve seen the final scene where the family is huddled in bed together. Ugh ugh ugh.
Yeah I’m really unable to watch scary movies. They linger with me and keep up for nights on end. Even bad horror movies. I mean, I’m someone who couldn’t sleep after watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
Indeed! I’m a horror movie buff, but only in the sense that I compulsively read synopses on Wikipedia. I don’t think I’ve actually seen a horror movie since... The Ring maybe?
Same. My husband makes me watch horror movies all through October, and while watching (actually, listening since I usually have a blanket over my face) Don’t Breath, I read the Wiki because I couldn’t handle not knowing what was going to happen. I constantly ruin movies for myself this way.
