I work for an urban school district (largest in our state). Every student gets free breakfast. A few years ago they moved to free lunch as well.

I just binged through all of this show in the past week. I’d never watched any of it before. Shit, you guys.

I was confused when I saw the movie but didn’t bother looking anything up after. I assumed the story took place even a few years earlier than that. Was Uber a thing in 2007? Did they just use ISIS in place of al Qaeda references?

Neither will exist, but I think I like A Time for Wolves better than A Dream of Spring.

Is season 2 worth watching? I loved the first but when the second was coming out the press was so bad that I didn’t bother starting it.

Well they seemed to always like Margaery! But the Tyrells were feeding them. Much better PR in that family.

There’s one about H H Holmes that is really good. Unfortunately now that there are 60+ episodes it’s hard to remember individual ones and the episode titles don’t explicitly reveal the topic. I started listening when it was brand new. I do think it was much better when it started. I would start with the oldest instead…

Some episodes are legit scary. Sometimes because people are terrible. Sometimes because of actual creepy shit. There’s one episode, I don’t even know what it was about, that includes a line like “but that doesn’t explain what happened to her eyes”. Wtfffff.

Read the books (or listen to the audiobooks! That’s how I first did it). Books 1-3 are really good and pretty close to the show. Books 4 and 5 are not as good and become much more diverged from the show. If it were me, I’d skip 5 (and maybe even 4) until/unless we ever get another book.

To be fair, I get the impression from the books that it probably should have been bigger. But they were limited by filming in an actual place and that’s just how big it was. This season has shown me that Spain has a lot of awesome stuff.

I like the song more each time I hear it, but it’s not great. The video helps a lot. The lyric video slowed down so much at the chorus, which is the weakest part.
