I watched the full first season (I think? Does it end with Bruce getting past some secret door and maybe finding a proto Bat Cave?)

Book Dorne would not make for super compelling TV, so they should have just dropped it entirely rather than do this.

They are the worst attempt of trying to cram some “grrl power” bullshit into the show.

I had to stop and blink for a minute and try to decide if this article was somehow fake, like when we get articles written by dogs or that one in response to that Wonder Woman review.

The Sand Snakes are the worst characters that have ever been on the show. It would be cool if there were more awesome badass ladies around, but they were not it.

Jon Hamm but dub in H Jon Benjamin’s voice.

With IQs in that range, they would have absolutely received special education services in school. Their cognitive ability would have been assessed every few years.

How terrible :(

I am also wondering what many commenters think a cognitive disability is, if they think these classes or education or training is all that is needed. A cognitive disability doesn’t just mean a person will have trouble with math or reading. There are people you could educate daily for years and it will not take. Or

This needs more attention. You would need someone willing to parent the entire family. You would need several people actually, since you can’t have one person working 24/7. It is essentially impossible.

66 is by no means mild. We work with students who score in this range and planning for their lives after high school. There is more often than not no plan for them to live independently. They usually cannot maintain traditional employment. I see these students work in specialized classrooms or job training programs

Do you work with this population? I do. There are limits to education and training. There are skills these parents may never be able to learn. They may essentially need full time parents themselves. I support the idea of having an agency check in and provide support. But a newborn is too fragile to be cared for by

Many students I work with who score within this range also have commensurate adaptive behavior. They are oftentimes unable to properly care for themselves without constant support and supervision. While I side eye the parenting choices of many people (recognizing that I have no place to compel them to change), knowing

I assess teenagers with cognitive disabilities. Cognitive abilities with standard scores in the 60s are within the lowest 1% of the population. I don’t know what the solution is here. There are people of all ability levels that are good or bad parents.

I sold a ton of Sonic comics and their spin offs series on eBay years ago. I made hundreds of dollars, but I had a lot of comics.

I know it’s no one’s business but I always really want to know who the father is. I was like this with Felicia Day too. I want celebs to have their privacy but also I just wanna knooowww.

I unabashedly like her and wish her every success. Her books are delightful.

Oh god I hope so lol

By the end I really liked it a lot. I like the Muppets a lot but I’m also usually really lenient with adaptations. I don’t get into a nerd rage about Harry Potter books versus movies like some people I know. If I could deal with the Muppets in Muppet Christmas Carol literally playing different characters, I can deal

I watched it all and by the second half of the episodes the tone had changed and it had gotten really good. I wish it had had more time.
