The 3DS has a ridiculously strong library. You are gaming wrong.

I don't care if they overtake anything in a month or whatever. I didn't even bring up Wii U lifetime sales or anything. They have garbage for lineups just like every other console in history.
It's more like the first year is super slow for everyone. The PS4 and Xbone have basically nothing for their first year looking forward too. It's just how things go.
This is a really good commercial and the Mario 3D World was really good too.
Just remember, guys. Do not buy anything unless you mean to play it within the next month or two. Otherwise it's just a waste of money as it'll go to that price again or lower by the time the Spring Sale rolls around. Essentially, if you've waited this long to play something and you're just buying it because it sounds…
"Emotional" was another completely overused word throughout the entire year. Usually at the same time as "immersive."
You hush! My word embiggens even the smallest man!
The word for Mario 3D World is scrumtrulescent.
Not really.
From what I've played, yes. There are a ton of challenges overall and they get pretty difficult. There's also the "bits" you are rewarded with for completion of challenges and those unlock neat little stickers you can use in Miiverse posts for the game which gives it its own achievement system basically.
Seeing as it has over 200 challenges and many of them are quite difficult, NES Remix will last longer than all of those full classic games combined.
It also does a fantastic job of teaching people how to play these classic games as well. The first few challenges are usually something to do with the actual introduction of its gameplay and it works very well.
And the best part is that the trailers don't even do it justice. The game runs at 60fps and looks incredibly good in-person.
You can already do this in both MK Wii and 7. MK Wii had an offline only item switch where you could turn off items entirely, use classic items only, aggressive (which meant even more blue shells) or just standard. MK 7 actually had it so you could have online matches using specific item types only. Mushroom only…
They weren't in the original game and aren't needed at all in the new version so no, they don't affect me buying the game. They're equal to the level DLC you can buy for any of the Tales games on PS3/360. You don't need them at all but they're there for lazy people.
There's a lot more to it than you think there is.
You have to realize, people are still bitching and moaning about Final Fantasy 13 and that came out 3 YEARS AGO. Stupid people hold really stupid grudges.
I've gone back and forth on this so much. I want to say both Wonderful 101 and Super Mario 3D World.
Not for long though. It has a full year on the Wii U and is losing ground very quickly, getting only a third of the Wii U's sales for Black Friday, which were also quite low.
I can't get excited for this game at all. The subject matter is overplayed, the traversal stuff is overplayed (and none have done it well outside of Mirror's Edge) and Techland is a developer I have zero faith in.
