I did this last night through the Vita and it worked just fine, zero problems. Now I'm set through 2016. Next month has Sonic Racing Transformed for Vita on it so that'll be neat even though I own it for both Wii U and PC.

I didn't really forget those first three. There's a better version of Ragnarok Odyssey coming out and it has a PS3 version, Disgaea 3 is no longer part of PS+ and I'd say it's the weakest of the series anyway and Touch My Katamari was incredibly light on content and heavier on DLC.

Why would it be hard to believe? The amount of publishers who opted for region free on 360 was very low. Publishers WANT to support region locking. It gets them more money.

I've been saying this since the 3DS came out and apparently no one believed me despite the information coming from Nintendo at launch. The 3DS itself ISN'T region locked, it's done at the software level like the 360. If publishers want games to be region free, they can do that.

Do it anyway and buy Ys. Hell, just buy Ys by itself. It needs all the help it can get.

Here's your plan for Vita. Step one: buy a year of PS+. Step two: download all of the free games. You'll get Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice, Wipeout 2048, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD, Hotline Miami, and Zen Pinball Star Wars. Step three: Buy Persona 4 Golden, Ys Celceta, Hot Shots Golf and Muramasa. You now have

What "crippling design flaws" were even in Remember Me? Please don't say linearity because that holds no water given the genre. If it's just that it wasn't some artsy game where you just wander around or because it was a combat-based game, that isn't a "crippling design flaw" that's just you not liking its genre.

This could well be true, especially looking at Fallout 3 and New Vegas and how good the mods are for those, but I'd still prefer to get everything at this point anyway.

And yet I still don't see a reason to buy it. The Legendary Edition exists and I've waited this long so why not just wait until that is at the threshold I want instead? I wouldn't be able to get around to it anytime soon anyway.

Add Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, Virtue's Last Reward, Kid Icarus Uprising and Shin Megami Tensei 4 and you're on your way to a year full of awesomeness.

DO look through the DS catalog for lots and lots and LOTS of great presents, many of which can be cheaply procured this days. The DS library is easily one of the most varied and interesting libraries of games in history (I would put it on par with the PS2 personally) and there's no end to the joy you can give by

There's nothing Monster Hunter style about the combat. I have no idea where that came from. Think of it more as a hyper fast Zelda with way more emphasis on combat.

DocSeuss writing for anyone sounds horrendous.

13-2 made a profit given that the assets were already pretty much done. Even selling half of 13's amount, it probably made them more money.

What recent obsession? The belts and zippers thing has been toned down since the PS2 era. Lulu and Kingdom Hearts 2 were its peak.

Absolutely though it is not an RPG like that. It is very much an extremely fast-paced Zelda game with multiple characters and leveling/crafting. And phenomenal soundtracks.

Ys is coming out and you put THAT as the header game? UGGGGGGH. XSeed gets no love.

The first game bombed horrendously and the series has no fanbase on 360 so there's no point in porting it there. BlazBlue has started doing the same.

The example they gave of a "hyper-sexualized" character (Roller Girl Nova or whatever it is) isn't even hyper-sexualized. She just looks like a roller derby girl with some high tech stuff on and a gun.

I would definitely blame the consumers. The console tells you to not unplug it while it's updating. If the network went down during the update, it did nothing. The update would just resume from where it was. Hell, it background downloaded anyway. Unplugging it directly was the only way to brick it.
