The other half is Netflix. Then the other other half is porn.

I wonder if this study looked at air frying at all. Essentially you are circulating hot air and a small amount of oil in an enclosed space. I'm sure you'd have to have a method of restraining the meat so it doesn't spin around with the air though.

Hmm there wouldn't be a mutant in this movie who's shown a frightening control over metals is there? I mean, one might think sending a mostly synthetic sentinel against such a mutant might be a good idea! They might, perhaps, even have other styles of sentinel intended for different threats.

My guess, BECAUSE NOBODY HAS SEEN THE MOVIE YET, is that it is geared for fighting Magneto, hence the largely plastic/synthetic construction and that there are more types that haven't been seen yet.

*ahem*

“Monogamous marriage reduces crime,” Henrich and colleagues write, pulling together studies showing that polygynous societies create large numbers of unmarried men, whose presence is correlated with increased rates of rape, theft, murder, and substance abuse. According to Henrich, the problem with unmarried men

Depending on the size of the concrete pour, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Concrete goes through a thermal process and can generate quite a lot of heat as well as contracting as it cools.

So, rather than deal with a few guys who demonstrate exactly why you don't want to date them anyway, you encourage shady behavior to every man that reinforces negative stereotypes and possibly causes some stalkery behavior from more men?

As a guy, I will say that the sincere "No, thank you I'm not interested." is waaay better than any shady fade tactic.

When the oceans rise up and flood Florida like God's wrath, where will your fancy underground parking lots be then huh!?

"So... it will make lots of money but be remembered as a poor adaptation of its original source material?"

"I don't know if it's just Texas, or teh south, or what, but yes, this mindset is very prevalent."

CGI is a tool and has it's place as much as physical props do. You'd be surprised how many movies use CGI that you never even noticed.

lol, yeah I know the story around her is a bit zany. Just saying, it could have been a Silurian sword or something. Everyone goes for the katana like nobody else ever made swords though, it's just lazy and that gives me a sad.

Okay, first off if I seem angry or frustrated in this post it's mostly because Kinja sucks and I had to swap browsers to get a stupid box to open up with the editing controls. So there's that.

Set medical vibrators to "Oh Myyyyyy"

Is that from Dr. Who? Eh, either way it's lame she's got a Japanese sword, in that time period they were extremely rare outside of Japan, especially for a gaijin girl to get one. Lots of perfectly fine swords were available from European sources but of course ignore those.

They have replicators? They can press a button and get food, the costumes and pretty much everything else works similarly. If you want something replicate it, when you're done with it toss it back into the replicator and disassemble it.

I'll try to explain. There's this thing called fun? You might have heard of it? Dressing up is fun! Playing on the holodeck is like entering another world, so actually putting on clothes from that period can help you get into the mental grove of the time.
