Scientology is really not comparable to Islam, or any other established faith with centuries of history and millions upon millions of followers.

Do you/have you had young kids? Flying alone with two babies is intense. I think many parents would break down pretty easily in that situation. It makes me feel empathy, not embarrassment.

Nah in this case it actually helps. The fact that someone would be willing to do that even if its a act of macho bravery makes it more legit in the sense that this isnt just a crazy woman crying hysteria while the attendant was just “doing his job”. (huge run on sentence, i know)

I think it’s sadly pretty common for those left behind to be in denial. Especially for religious folk.

As a passenger, I hope people remember that airlines need to manage their own shit and not ask paying passengers to do it for them.

Not only that, but even aside from overbooking and then trying to find 4 seats for employees, why the fuck would they only try to resolve this *after* everyone was already on the plane and in their seats??? If they knew they had employees to move, and they planned to screw passengers to do it, seat the employees…
