I totally believe this, in combo with being super thin/toned before getting pregnant.

You're absolutely right. And I am guilty of that "be nice" behavior too. I'm lucky that all it won me was some very persistent admirers in high school and not worse.

This is so exciting! I will definitely be reading and commenting!

Personally, I think one Naked palette could be worth it, but probably not multiple at this point. I bought 2 initially then when 3 came out it was such a better color scheme for my skin I bought it too. But lately I've been eyeing the LORAC Pro palette and it seems pretty perfect for my everyday needs.

Blackheart looks so pretty in the pan, but it seems disappointing when I apply it. The shimmer isn't visible at all which is the coolest part.

Aha so it must be permanent! Very cool. They must have grandfathered me in for this first year or something (I've had it for like a year and a half now thru the test group). Not having to hit that $50 threshold is amazing. Plus, since my stuff seems to ship from Baltimore, it arrives next day. I've placed orders after

I got on the flash trial group where I paid $10 for a year of flash shipping (without being Rouge) and it's been AMAZING, but they keep extending it without telling me what they're doing with the flash program...so I have no idea.

And isn't it just so typical that her concerns were not getting anyone in trouble (i.e., being a good girl) rather than, what do you mean allegations and what the fuck is going on?

Guhhhhhhh that last part makes me so mad on your behalf. Dawdlers, man.

People keep bringing this up, but just because the law is on your side doesn't mean you escape judgment in all situations for being a massive dick. If you cheat or otherwise cause the breakup and then pursue someone legally to get back the ring you gave them, I reserve the right to consider you an asshole regardless

Yes. This. I don't think women should cede their time off, but it should be a mandatory 12 weeks (or whatever number) for both, to be taken either concurrently or in whatever combo they want, but they must be taken by men and women both.

good for you

i think it's the most annoying premise in the world to be like, "hey you know that thing that people pay tons of money for and plan for like a year or more that's a really important day? let's just show up and crash it. isn't that FUN?" no. it's not fun. if this were real, unless they found some megafans, it'd be

Possible to do what? Buy a wedding gown for $500? In Washington DC area?

This is exactly why I ended up buying non-bridal but could-work-for-bridal dresses from department stores and designers online. Because I was not going into a bridal shop (and what tell them my budget is $500? They would literally have laughed me out the door). And that was the only way I could make returns. It worked

one of the most frustrating things about wedding talk is that people are so weird about talking about money that you never have a good idea of what you could realistically spend until you're there and having a heart attack from sticker shock. i hate that so i am not shy about talking numbers.

If it helps put numbers in perspective our target was to spend $1,000 on dinner and drinks for 25-30, and I think we'll probably end up spending ~$1,500. The cost of the PopWed package is $1900 which includes officiant, they file the paperwork for us, and photography.

good to know re: Julie. once my current work pants are no longer wearable i'll be in trouble since they're discontinued, so i may be hitting up the Julie.

until other stores introduce curvy pants and skirts i will continue to shop LOFT. it's the only consistently pretty reliable and affordable place for jeans and skirts for me.

no it's not. they take the 40% off when you check out. prices do not reflect discount.
