Yes. This. She's likely too good to watch vapid stuff like Say Yes To the Dress but turn that on and in five minutes you will know what I'm talking about.

Everything I said is extremely general. I don't have a clue where you are getting from that quote "do all that planning." I didn't realize that thinking "hmm, an outdoor venue is nice" is the same as putting down a fucking deposit. "Planning" non-negotiables means saying "I am not religious and do not want a religious

And because we all live in a place where $20k or so could even make a dent in a down payment. Hahahahaha!

I did not say it's a good idea to plan everything ahead of time. I actually explicitly said I WOULDN'T personally do that or advise it. I did say it makes practical sense to think about your general likes and dislikes when it comes to weddings. That seems like an infinitely sensible thing to do, since you're so hung

Well, bully for you. I'm pretty sure I'd never mentioned wedding plans/thoughts of any kind to anyone before getting engaged and it happened. But thanks for the implication there.

I hear that you're saying and it makes sense, but people around you also go TOTALLY INSANE the moment you're engaged and demand dates, details, and info you couldn't possibly know yet. I'm not kidding when I say that the most common response after "congrats!" to me was "have you set a date yet?"

also google pederasty. aka, child rape.

I believe you.

I agree. Now that I think about this more fully you're right. The author kept emphasizing the part about survivors LOVING her, but something did feel very...off about the picture of Eramo. She seemed cold and flippant. Maybe I read that as jaded rather than actively dismissive. Her portrayal would have been much more

Yes. I am very confused. She was portrayed as a "good guy" (at least that's the impression I got) in the original piece; it sounded like she wanted to do the right thing but her hands were tied by the rest of the administration. I guess that's not the case? Maybe the survivors love her because she doesn't push them to

i was proud to pick out "hyvä!" and what i think was "hienoa!"

There are many great options at the drugstore for $7 or less! Pssssst!, Dove, and Suave have all been great for me. I tried Clean Freak once and it was pretty good too.

Suave literally costs $2 and is perfectly fine. Sorry we're not fancy enough for you!

Tresemme SUCKS!! (although they've improved the formula a little or something because the travel size was tolerable last I tried). It was always really sticky to me.

I have dyed dark hair and honestly have not had this issue with any of the drug store brands (Suave, Psssst!, Dove). One of the keys is to fluff it at the roots with your fingers when you're done to kind of disperse the powder. It'll look a little white at first but if you shake it out it has always been okay for me.

My family's kitty passed away miraculously while I was home on Easter break. I got to see her one last time and I choose to believe she knew I was home and waited.

I just bought some for my kitty. For a 7-year old cat it cost under $300 for a year of service (or you can pay monthly), and it covers 90% cost of almost everything non-routine after a $200 deductible. The tooth extractions he had earlier this year would have cost me $300 instead of over $1000 if I'd had it then.

I'm so sorry. But that sounds like an AMAZING day otherwise and I'm so jelly of your school work!

I was THIS close to going with a Tadashi dress. I loved them all. I had a shitty experience with their customer service, though and went with another dress.

Absolutely second this suggestion. Mine is a Kate Spade dress—especially if you're into short dresses or non-white, you can have a field day at department stores or designer sites directly.
