The book was great and I'm not even a little bit interested in camping or hiking. I love Cheryl Strayed in general.
yes. many are.
No. Basically every place I have worked has sent out some kind of email that says, in effect, "civic duty is important and we encourage you to vote...but do it on your own time."
You can clean jewelry and coffee isn't going to damage it. One of the reasons people like diamonds for engagement rings (or sapphires, or other very hard stones) is that they are very durable.
Yeah I just mean if they already handle drinks and money why is it grosser if they wear a ring while doing it? I did money and drinks at McDonald's and it was a non issue about rings. I'm just not sure I get it.
Anyone know if any other food service places do the ring thing? At McDonald's lots of people wore rings and we always had to wear gloves in food prep anyway.
if we get pizza it's a large and we eat 4 pieces each. on the reg.
But, do men go around just telling other men who are strangers "Hello!" on the street all the time in New York? As a man, do you walk around all day and have other men say "hello!" when you are just minding your business? Seriously?
I'm actually relieved to have an engagement ring on my finger at this point for this very reason. Visual proof that I belong to another man so maybe now you'll respect me! WEEEEEEE
there actually is a female-oriented "redpill" subreddit where women buy into all that stuff.
As an adult living on my own I've realized the beauty of real butter. All I had growing up was margarine and my mom would never buy real butter except maybe for baking.
Depends if I'm having struggles with my eyeliner, but yes. I take about 40 mins for hair (pretty quick most days since it's short; longer if I washed it), makeup, picking out clothes/putting them on, jewelry. That's not like rushing pace, but yeah. I don't think I do anything overly complicated, but I do put on makeup.
I also don't really understand that because no jewelry is worth the same on resale as it was new. So I mean, a several year old ring that's used? You're going to get a fraction back of what you paid for it. And likely not enough to even cover t his legal process (unless it's a 17 carat Kim Kardashian thing, but this…
Also check Etsy! There are really gorgeous, unique rings on there in every price range depending on what you want. And, supporting small businesses! There are some shops I really wish I'd found before I bought my center stone.
I freely admit that I wanted something beautiful to wear. That doesn't mean Big Fucking Diamond, and it's not even close to a reason I got engaged (because I genuinely want to marry this person, jewelry or not), but there are zero things wrong with wanting a nice thing for yourself.
I don't like that some people seem to be using this as proof that their previous classist assumptions were correct (really? You ALWAYS knew that she was a shitty parent?) but this is just so awful and sad if it's true. I wasn't sure at first since they denied all the recent stuff about her and Sugar Bear breaking up,…
Definitely not even. My Harris Teeter had bags of candy bars for 2/$7, so $14.
"You know, those kids can just go down to the Clinic and get candy. Or they can use all those welfare dollars to buy candy and chips just like I see their moms doing all the time while they talk on their iPhones."
yeah i thought so too. i've heard all the recent news about them dismissed as not true so, idk.
