I really hope this gets renewed for a second (or possibly third) season, since there’s just so much craziness left in the real Stede Bonnet’s life that hasn’t even been touched on yet.

While they have taken certain liberties with the timeline (The real Stede Bonnet wasn’t stabbed during the confrontation with the

Not to sound like someone who condones drug use.... but marijuana is now legal where I live. This movie is the perfect, late Sunday afternoon, wind down the weekend with some high quality pot before the work week starts again kind of movie. Just get baked and melt in to the couch. In that respect the slow pacing works

classic applemodo ... no thanks

It is gorgeous and dull. Too long then, and way too long now for a generation who expect action every moment. It is what it is and I don’t want to watch a cut down version.

Stop giving the rich 100% of the profits in the government supported business models. Instead of trying to correct the after effects, pay more equitably and tax all involved.

Jeff Bezos chokes every small business he can out of business so that he can increase his coffers. All that cheap music? At the expense of the musicians trying to make a living.

All of that speedy delivery? At the expense of warehouse workers and drivers who struggle to make a living and work in cruel conditions.

And

I was wondering when the first “he doesn’t have to donate anything, we should be grateful for whatever he gives” comment to appear and it didn’t take long LOL. He doesn’t have to donate anything, and we don’t have to not call him out for being a greedy narcissistic prick when his rich (but not as rich) ex donates

His sycophants call him the Space Cowboy. His girl friend calls him the Lex Luthor of love. Other people call him real cheap. Cause he acts as the pompitous of greed.

Coming from California (where I rarely, if ever, saw a “California stop” ... I see it a lot more in Ohio), I like the “Ohio Shuffle”. Someone tailgates you, and then when you change lanes to pass someone, they just shuffle up to tailgate that vehicle while you continue on.

The narrative that Putin was some badass secret agent is a relatively tired and unproven trope. He was a middle-management suck-up stationed in Leningrad, and then ran weapons in cahoots with the Stasi in Dresden. He wasn’t James-Bonding around the globe, engaging in gun battles with evil Capitalists or some shit.

I would guess the comic bubble appear whenever she is day dreaming or on her way to doing so.

I suspect they’ll be in the show, particularly early in the show when she’s less involved in the fantastical aspects of the MCU...with the bubbles illustrating her daydreaming about that superhero-life.

I’m really hoping the visual style from the trailer carries over to the show. It would be nice to see an MCU really try and stand out on its own with the visuals like that.

My guess is the trailer based on the way it's framed, but I wouldn't mind some Spider-Verse/Mitchells vs Machines like touches

Ms Marvel trailer just dropped. Looks like it’s going to embrace the younger age of the lead and have some fun. Could be a great pallet cleanser after what’ll most certainly be a more brutal Moon Knight.

well that works for me.

I don’t see the problem here.
