It is cool how surface reactions in some metals forms a stronger surface layer that protects it unlike iron oxidation. Aluminum and titanium are two that come to mind. I am sure there are others.

Regarding the Rhodium, and these other metals used in batteries, emissions controls, etc...do you think we will run into a time when those metals become rare and prohibitively expensive to extract?
