^^^This.

Here’s what I worry about for the country as a whole: We have all been under an increasing level of stress and worry for pretty much 4 years now. On both sides of the aisle. And 2020 has pretty much just amped it up as far as it will go. Now, I don’t know about y’all, but I have the fairly common stress and crisis

I deleted my Facebook account and have stopped speaking with a significant portion of my in-laws (at my wife’s reqeust for the latter).   It has been very freeing, especially dropping Facebook.   I didn’t realize just how much time I spent there and what a rage inducing nightmare it was/is.

True love is giving your SO your jalapeno cheese spread.

Exactly. I’ve been an electrician for decades. The whole “you might have to modify the panel” is a bit dramatic, and in 99.9% of cases, simply not true. reality is that most will pull the panel cover, run a cable from the charger to panel, snap a 2 pole breaker in and land 3-4 wires. Not a job for a clueless beginner,

Just think of it as two 120 circuits at the same time. It really looks like a basic job, especially if you have a spare breaker space.

Neutral: I am just sitting here, in my tighty whitey Fruit of the looms, drinking coffee while 2 feet of snow is dropping like white turds from the sky.

I understand the reasoning, yet, there are manufacturers that do an excellent job on outward visibility across the board. If Subaru can do it, why can’t GM?

You just MAY not be the target market for an EV if you have to drive 30 miles to get to some sort of civilization.

As you so eloquently put it: He said a naughty word.

Just put a deposit down on a new vehicle yesterday. Looking forward to completing as much of the transaction via email/phone as possible and spending as little time in the dealership showroom as I can.

Europe is blowing up right now. And a number of the prior hotspot countries are already seeing higher per capita cases than the US.

I disagree on your reasoning. It’s no different from a print newspaper or magazine citing another as a source. If USA Today cites WSJ, you have to go out and buy a WSJ to read their article. It’s an inconvenience to the reader, and not a hit to the credibility of this site. Especially not when the Morning Shift is

Neutral: I don’t care so much about links to stories behind paywalls, but it would be nice if you put “Check out the full story here(paywall)“

1st Gear: This is how EVs will win. The batteries and associated tech will continue to drop in price while improving in range and quality.

a programming note: Does it bother you that The Morning Shift includes links to sources that are behind paywalls? If so, why?

The A and B-class are awesome. Stop the hate :o)

1st/Neutral: I don’t think people realize how much this has to do with how well made cars have been for the last 10+ years now. I know there’s a lot of shit thrown around here for people screaming “JUST BUY USED” at every corner, but seriously, 16 years ago, buying a 5ish year old Euro luxury car meant you very well

Hey, don’t all hate on me now, I just wanna say that I can understand the feelings behind wishing pain and death on Trump. And I hate his politics and all he stands for too! But please remember that letting these kind of feelings get too much room in your life actually will hurt yourself in the end.

Believe me, I
