Came here to say this, and it isn’t the first time I have seen them crusade on the valve masks. Surgical masks have the same escape flow as the valves, it just comes out of side of the mask instead. A lot of the valve masks also direct the air towards a direction and it is never straight on.

I worked from home before this so it isn’t as big of an issue for me, but my corporate office went back a couple of weeks ago on a 50% rotation - but had to evacuate it Friday as a couple of employees got COVID. Now it being deep cleaned and everyone who forgot their computer is out of work until the doors open again.

Keep your receipts at least, that is all tax deductible. I work from home (and seemingly former travel) as an automotive supplier and I get a stipend for work from home. This includes internet and cell phone bills - also can be 100% deducted on taxes if not reimbursed.
