I always thought it was because Apple had a hard time getting carriers to adopt the iPhone initially and so they signed the exclusive deal with AT&T. Why they are not currently on all the carriers out there now that that is over is beyond me, however.

I was just going to say that until you pointed it out.

I always thought a cheap tablet would be great for the bathroom...

I am Tycho the Blue, guardian of the Middlego Earth.

That's along the lines of what I was thinking.

Meh, it's just the internet, right? It's not really a big deal in the end. ;-)

My Guess: A new MacBook Air with a detachable screen that turns into an iPad. Now that would be truly awesome.

I like good grammar as much as the night person, but is it really all that important in this case?

"The recent controversy regarding the S&P downgrade of the United State's credit status does not seem to have negatively impacted treasury bond sales."

I was driving from Austria once and I had this crazy plan to stop in at Liechtenstein, but the road I was on was closed/delayed so I skipped it. Once I have $70,000, I'll buy the country for a day to make up for my oversight.

I saw this game played in several of my undergraduate courses and I can assure you that the fairer sex is just as susceptible to the follies of this game.

I've had the chance to walk around the Pentagon and it is indeed a big, big building. This graphic really does put the Apple campus into perspective.

So.... I don't use my old Linux tower as much as I used to after buying my MBP, but, it seems like the black bars on Google's websites match the regular gnome theme (not Unity) from Ubuntu 10.04 and up. Has anybody else noticed this?

I always figured it was just a game of probabilities. If you imagine that any given electronic device has a 1/10,000 probability of causing some major electronic interference for the plane then (assuming independence) the chance of there being an incident of some sort on a plane with 200 people all using electronic

Those are fun. I would definitely consider buying some of these if they were for sale.

It's sad, but the kid version of me thought things like the Booster Boy were awesome. Thankfully my parents never plunked down the cash to buy me these sorts of things.

While I agree with you I just feel this is a very volatile time in American politics and, like all things funded by Washington, the space program is inherently political. Given the new push for austerity in spending these days I could easily see NASA's budget coming up for the axe. Worse, I can even envision

So long as those plans don't get scrapped...

I experimented with my dad's iPad and it really is the best solution for cbr/cbz comics. The app I used for it was called Comic Zeal. I liked it so much that I bought the app for my iPhone 4 and, while it's not the same experience as the full screen iPad, the retina display makes it fairly decent nonetheless.

Out of curiosity, what's the best way to gauge data usage on a Verizon iPhone? I know that typing in #data on the phone will give me a text message outlining how much Verizon says I've used but is there any other app or tool I could use that would give me something like a chart?
