As someone who was really into overclocking I enjoyed it more from the hardware hacking perspective than I did from a performance perspective.

Yeah if you call them, they will free it up for you. I had this same issue where a few HDs just decided to die on me in the year (after probably 8-9 years of good use). I just called and explained what I was doing and confirmed it was just for one system and it was gravy.

In the campaign, ammo isn't so much of an issue as there's usually plenty. In multiplayer though I really felt the constraints of the alternate weapon system. I'm habitually a long range/sniper player online so having to chase allowances of secondary ammo really cramped my style. I like having two weapons to switch…

No it's definitely not that designers are bad at all. But I would be hesitant to let someone know that they should be a designer and have the ability to influence everyone right away and make bank.

Yes there are quire a few bad ones, and I don't want folks to get the wrong idea with my post and think I'm trying to generalize. There are lots of good/great designers out there and no one should be afraid of them or think that studios are being ran by dimwits.
