The music sounds like it was ripped right out of this game called Rebel Galaxy, which could also be given that very same description.

The SLS uses a transaxle, which should make the job a bit easier - if the heavy-duty Quaife H-pattern transaxle fits in the back, you could probably get it to work. It might need to be beefed up a bit though.

I would adapt a Toyota-Getrag V160 transmission “the 6-speed from the Supra Turbo”. Custom bellhousing (can be made by cutting and welding the two,  Merc and Toyota bellhousings at the correct length and points), Adapt a flywheel and clutch (whatever is closest in size and fitment so it requires as little modification

Worth it for a white shifter.

Re-engineer it so it can swap transmissions like wheels...pick a nice solid ots 6-speed and bam problem solved.
