Obligatory photo. Very interesting read, I wonder what my fellow Minnesotans would think of combining a Fargo accent with “the” I94
I am SO glad to finally hear someone else say this.
Someone needs to photoshop this into a Tesla hood or similar ASAP
Mixed track would be awesome. Half pavement half dirt or sand, it would even hark back to the original Daytona course so it’d play into a throwback or tradition approach. DO IT
“Ran when landed”
No love for Tamron?
“Window or Aisle seat?”
“Window, please”
Man, if I had it all to do over again I would have gone for a Conservation Officer with the DNR in a heartbeat. The sad thing is, they are having trouble finding people to take the job. They’ve relaxed the requirements but I think the thing keeping most away (and myself) is the Peace Officers Standards & Training…

Oh I see her, I have learned to settle for Cecily in recent years though
Sigh. Nasim Pedrad still has my heart.
I am really hoping that is an SNL reference
I’d say we have you beat by about 10° and most of the rest is true here too but I suppose our snow doesn’t turn right to slush so maybe that is a good thing.

THIS. You have summarized my exact argument I’ve used all these years, the multiple colors! I’m glad someone else gets it!
Similar to SmaterChild I had found an app (wait, we didn’t call them ‘apps’ back then unless they were on the first page of the Applebee’s menu)—I found a program that was a bot that interfaced with a simple website where you could key in specific words and what the responses should be. The rest of it was up to the AI.
I’ve found in Minnesota people really like using lake names as a theme, all of our conference rooms at one company were lakes. When a sales exec vacated his large office and they decided to turn it into a Sales Dept conference room they held a competition for what lake to name it after.
Ooh, I like that. Way better than “Liberty” and “Justice” that my friend chose
While we wait for the site to bounce-back from the high traffic I’ll just share with everyone that I’ve named my fists “Pride” & “Prejudice”
