I had a phone interview with a fairly promising job (lined up very well, skill-wise) and near the end they asked my point blank what I currently made. I didn’t miss a beat and said “I think you’re probably wondering what my salary requirements would be to leave my current job and that would be $xx,000/year”

I am suddenly so depressed.

It’d be 25 more for me and I can assure you I won’t be!

Is this you in forty years, Andrew?

I’ve been finding this a lot with Kinja deals as of late

That’s one of the many vehicles I still see used today

I do too, that’s part of my issue. The car in the photo is on the trailer because a tree fell on it, the damage wasn’t bad (minus the rain) but the insurance company totalled it out anyway. I bought it back and can’t seem to let it go knowing full well I probably won’t fix it either. :-/

EXACTLY.

For those, unaware....

Dad?

Down to the wheel well width, and it sucks you can only get the Crew Cab/5'7 option whereas with the others you can get the Quad Cab/6'3 and still have the same length truck and - ta da! - much larger RamBoxes.

I haven’t actually seen one on a dealer lot with the RamBox, either.

It only comes in Crew Cab (one of my gripes) as opposed to the Quad Cab which means it gets little in the floor storage under the mats in the back seat. Far better place to hide the goods.

This review reads like my life, and as a former Power Wagon owner, I am currently eyeing a Rebel to get back into the swing of things. I also need to find a home for this Stealth/3000GT.

Came to post that, left fulfilled

Did this in Hawaii every time, fortunately our Jeep key was a real key (not some fancy electronic fob thing) so we didn’t even have to worry about it getting wet. Problem solved!

I just jumped into this last weekend, but I didn’t find it prohibitively expensive. I got this kit which included the adapter to fit my camera and worked just slick. Photo below, first try, and I didn’t even have a tripod. (that said, I haven’t tried anything longer than a few seconds)

Jeez you would think if the cabs are just chopped off Wrangler ones that they’d have the decency to offer both options and just send the appropriate length frame down the assembly line.

Wasn’t there an official kit that did that conversion already?

I do something similar though it’s eroded down to simply logging into Mint or whatever you use to watch your transactions and taking satisfaction in going a day or more without anything going out. If you get in the habit of making it feel rewarding or like a game, you’re more inclined to skip that ‘one’ thing that

I was thinking the exact same thing
