As a Gen Xer from a super sexist household, these books appealed to me for all the wrong reasons. When my sister and I were “well-behaved” and did what our parents wanted, we didn’t really get any other attention. Our submissiveness was our value.

YUP. If it were just about variety, then the answer would be simple. But I definitely think these two get off on the secrecy, the hurt they inflict, the guilty feelings they get, etc. Yet meanwhile do not want to play the part of the unwitting partner themselves.

I think you're right and if they follow Dan's advice they'll drift apart once the thrill is gone, off to ruin the lives of innocent future partners once again. 

Letter one makes me think this guy and maybe his girlfriend are the worse kind of cheaters, the type that gets off on cheating.  Also the type who loves to cheat but hates being cheated on.  

If you don’t own a physical copy, you won’t own it. Do not trust what they tell you. They’ll break their “contract” at some point. So figure out how to get a physical copy by any means you see fit

Those titles feel like they were written by a new Tom Haverford/Jean Ralphio venture.

Let’s see, this seems to be the current publishing strategy:

1) Print circulation declines;
2) Fire staff and make product worse;
3) Hire new, young, web-first staff;
4) Make website based entirely on reader data;
5) Blame newsroom for inability to sell website;
5) Repeat endlessly from step 2 until you run out of money.

Confirmed. Trying to get my American wife over to the UK has been a long and extremely expensive process. And she’s a dual Canadian citizen, so she at least gets Commonwealth points.

And you think that too much immigration is the reason for hardly any wage growth despite the massive productivity gains?  And you know, not that the wealthiest have basically hoarded those productivity gains?  If real wages have barely grown, productivity has increased, and income inequality has increased massively…
