Hang on, let me pull out my tiniest violin for the rich guy who isn’t happy with the off road vehicle he bought to drive to his mountain chalet.

Exactly, especially since he had the prescience to deliberately NOT register the car so he can still sell it as technically new. Frankly I don’t know how you can drive it off a dealership lot without it being registered but I am not a vehicle investor. But yeah this dude’s got cash and he’s gonna be just fine.

And yet David Tracey would still argue his mid 60's Plymouth is the most reliable car ever made.

Don’t people end up with all sorts of insects, rodents, and birds in their homes during open window season?

Because screens are ugly and don’t let you lean out as you have a cigarette #duh

but he put 550 miles on it unregistered. that was the question.

I’m not sure what he’s complaining about here.

Lol, elevation in WV. He also has a 2nd place here in CO so he does know what more elevation is like but still.

It’s not turbo lag, that doesn’t even really exist anymore. Ford programs its truck transmissions very, very far in the direction of fuel economy, which makes them very excited about shifting up, and very reluctant to shift down. You can correct this simply by putting the transmission in sport, pushing the tow button,

My car is a 2008 Honda Fit Sport with 88,000 miles; what has been replaced from almost a decade of ownership, in no certain order: the battery, alternator, air conditioning compressor, left front suspension (the spring broke somehow?), spark plugs, water pump, tires, drive belt, brake pads/rotors/shoes (many times),

I'm not sure the barista starting every window interaction with "The car in front of you tipped 100% and would like you to keep it going" will be greeted as well.

seem to go together like peanut butter and sushi.”

I work as a volunteer for State Emergency Service and have been involved in searches for people lost bushwalking or similar. When it goes well we’re all heros, when it goes bad, questions are asked, people want to know why more wasn’t done and so on.

I’m not going to sit here and pretend you should have done better... but this is why places like Germany have real safety inspections, not the bad jokes that count for most areas here stateside.

Sure, the Sheriff’s could have and should have done something better to find him, but the guy should have never left his vehicle in the middle of a fucking blizzard to begin with. Sorry for their loss, but shit, don’t blame the Sheriff’s office completely.

I mean, if anything he was kind of even a bigger asshole in the books lol.

Even complete disasters like the Pacific Rim series have been renewed for a second season.

It’s okay, they’ll cancel it within like 2 days of release anyway.

Netflix are slowly getting themselves into a self fulfilling prophecy. It’s really hard to convince myself to watch any new netflix series, because i know there’s such a high chance of them being cancelled.

Which results in less people watching it, which

It’ll be nice to have it in anime form, if it allows the dropped plot lines (in the movie) from later in the series to be put to screen. The biggest thing I can think of is Stephen Stills coming out arc and the absence of any robots, giant or otherwise from the Katayanagi Twins. Also if I remember correctly Book 6
