The one that ended up with the Capital being sacked and some people dying during an attempt to pressure the sitting VP to not certify the election while a bunch of sitting Representatives and Senators were trying to cynically get Congress to not certify the election results.

Ah, paint chips... the breakfast of Trumpers.

Once again another reason why the fucking system is broken. Elected officials should not be receiving money from corporations. That is utter bullshit.

I don’t know how much it helps. It saves on the development costs but it also puts a major risk on the industry - imagine some fundamental design problem that instead of being in 100k cars is in 1000k cars and requires a mass recall. That’s what dependence on Takata created.

Maybe the solution is to have bigger vehicles that can carry more people in one go through the tunnel. If it’s really high volume, maybe link the larger vehicles together in a chain so that they all travel at once all at the same speed.

Why don’t y’all just do a feature called “Ask a Trucker”? I’m sure I’m not the only one on here who drives commercial truck for a living; I’m also a driver trainer.

Never seen those, and I’ve lived in snow driving places almost my whole life (Sweden, Norway, Wisconsin, Denver and now Cleveland). Very cool.

You kid, but I remember when I was a kid and wanted really hard a specific VW Beetle toy. My father saved up to buy it, but when he finally got around buying it, the thing was out of stock.

Plows would 100% still rip those out. It’s not just the blade running over the top, it’s the ice that would freeze around that recessed area and the whole chunk would come out as one piece.

Not sure about Southern Italy, but Northern Europe certainly does. The trick is to dig deep and provide proper substrates. Here (NY) they mostly just scrape the ground and paint some asphalt on top; rinse and repeat yearly.

I think it is the MOAR BIGGER or folks will give you that look

We have them on the interstate in some parts of IL, but they’re inset, not above the road bed. When it snows, they cease to exist.

You won’t find lane reflectors anywhere that regularly plows the roads for snow. Otherwise the plows would just rip them out every year. Once I moved somewhere with almost no snowfall, there were lane reflectors everywhere.

I thought the Ascent was always generic looking. Mix a Honda and a Ford and GM and puppy dog tails together and you got its styling. If I didn’t own one, I couldn’t pick one out in a parking lot to save my life.

Safety bar isn’t a redundancy, it is part of the same system, relying on the same welds. A system that his held in place only by friction and hope. Get the weight off laterally or have one jack sitting on a pebble and it can result in the car coming down on you. Always use a redundancy.

Some antibiotics should clear that up.

I know car restoration. I feel fairly competent at engine repair.

I have all those and good off road recovery gear, multimeter, and other stuff you keep in a jeep that you may need when on an off road trail for a few days. the funny thing is that many people forget the toilet paper. toilet paper is the thing white like between civilization and not.
