@theeastbaykid: It's called a Subaru. Learn to love good rearward visibility in a smaller package!

Sweet, would that mean I could tune in to any internet radio station?

I should take pictures of the supposed 'Bike Route' designated by the state. Potholes and 6 inch wide shoulders, and you're lucky if the shoulders haven't been annexed by overgrown shrubbery. All on a busy road. Other possible routes to the university are either blocked off or involve playing chicken on major

@1300ccsoffury: Would a bright yellow paint job and vinyl stickers make it go any faster? For 60k more they could have at least made a bigger wing!

Give me a wrench, I can upgrade to a Spec-V by pulling out a 200 pound rear seat? Awesome!

Company I work for rents the economy grade car when I go on trips. I think rental companies should at least cough up the money for ABS, especially when the cars are used in snowy climates! Those cars were scary to drive!

@Rabbi Dave: What... I am confused as to how Ford will do their product lines (as in, I agree with you)

@DrLemming: Here is your Toyota Camry transportation appliance. Have a pleasant day.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is this non-Passat sounding "new midsize sedan designed specifically for the North American market"?

I just imagined a Priusamino...

Why would any self-respecting petty dictatorship buy these Jeeps when there are plenty of 1988 Toyota pickup trucks roaming the world?

Shoulda laced the coins with some strong poison and cleared the streets of London by thousands of cars. How about that for a congestion charge!

Goggomobil might be one of the few cars to stand up to a 'mino.

They had both Transporter movies on FX or something this weekend, so I was lazy and watched both.

@FightingChance: Automakers want to build high profit margin trucks and SUVs.

I want AWD. If not, I hope Subaru and Toyota can position the engine further back in the chassis to help with weight distribution. Subaru's AWD system has the boxer hanging out ahead of the front axle, which gives those cars long noses.

I saw people getting pulled over by NYS Troopers recently due to uncovered/unsecured loads. This would be pretty sweet, but the cop would probably pull you over before noticing it.

@Unregular: yah, G 009's are good, except in the winter. Got them on my Forester.
