What I saw in the Ford press release states the same bits and pieces as currently on the Ecoboost performance pack.
Right
Magnaride is available on the current Ecoboost performance pack. Wheels are a similar design to the PP2, but still same 19x9 as current Performance Pack. No mention of type of tires though.
The head gasket issue on the RS was due to improper installation at the factory. But Ford also said they made a new, thicker head gasket for this application.
I bought the 4cyl as my everyday driver. It was roughly 10k less than the similar equipped GTs in my area, the gas mileage was much better (which is important for a daily) and honestly its quick enough. I sit in mostly stop and go traffic so barely get to experience the 310hp let alone the 460hp the GT has.
Other than the upgraded engine the suspension and brake upgrades are the same as the current performance pack ecoboost. Also that mid 4 sec is prob with the 10-speed and the current one does the run in 4.9 sec.
Ok, I’ve donned my tinfoil hat. I think there are better options than EVs. What about the fuels made from algae and other plants that burn clean and are sustainable? The problems I see with EVs is 1) major upgrades needed to infrastructure 2) changes to tax system since no more gas tax 3) what about lower income…
The C6 may have the better performance, but I’ll take a C5 any day.
Neutral: This whole thing has seemed rather suspect right from the get go. But who knows, people thought Cosby was innocent at first too.
I’ve always been a big fan of the Sera. Just want to swap a 2ZZ and 6-Speed from a last gen Celica GT-S into it. Upgrade suspension and brakes and you’ve got a fun little car.
I’ve seen them with manual transmissions. They’re few and far between, but they do exist.
But did you do the no heat or AC?
Not sure about the short trips thing. When have a long trip to go on, we dont take my car, we take my brothers 3500 Ram. More room and a gigantic trunk for luggage.
Not really much of a difference so I’d say drive all three and see which one ya like.
Its better to be into Probes than to have probes be in you.
I’ve owned a 95 SE and a 96 GT, would buy this in a heartbeat.
Thats how Tom Izzo is. Many times I’ve seen him go off on players or throw them under the bus in interviews. That and crying to the refs are two of his best know traits.
Neutral: Cutting is how a company remains healthy. Its pretty well known that there is another car buying lull coming, the best way to prepare for that is to make changes while things are cut. Plus cutting not profitable products makes absolute sense.
But can I jack it up on 35s? Maybe throw some truck nuts on it.
