Had a silver 2000 LS myself; fully loaded sans the sunroof. Interior quality was meh, but it sure was a comfy car! And yes, miss that torquey V6 as well...
Dacias were big in South America; a friend of mine (native of Peru) sent me a photo of a white Dacia 1310 his uncle owned since new; the thing had a few body panels replaced, but still ran just fine (and I bet it's still on the road today)
In other news...
Great to see this nominated. Had the 3800 in my long-gone 2000 Impala LS. Lots of go, made a good noise too. That 4-speed auto trans though... just couldn't handle all that torque...
Indeed, lots of colourful history; and probably one of the most reliable/versatile V6 engines out there...
The W-body was born in 1988, but will remain in production until 2016 thanks to the Police fleet Impalas. Good work GM.
Wanted for the longest time to rent a 2005 RR Phantom from a place just a few blocks down from my house.
Eternity.

I got the Alitalia one as well! Still remains to be one of my fav 1:18 diecasts.
I don't know, but I imagine art & design wasn't their major.
"b-b-but officer, I swears I didn't sees it!"
Hi Jerry, thank you so much for stopping by!
