After failing to offload his old pickup truck online...

I sold my last car with a for sale sign in the window with the car at a Cars and Coffee meet.

Plenty of people, stop being a dick and look outside once in a while.

Why wouldn’t you?  Takes like a minute to make (or $1 to buy and fill out) and would increase your chances of selling.  Last vehicle I sold, I used both online ads and a physical for sale sign.

See “Retired school teacher”. “Internet” is where his bass and crappie go.

I think I meant more “epic space saga”.

I was going to say that Transformers was never “hard sci fi,” but then I remembered the Target: 2006 comics run from 1986 was built around the concept of parallel universes and alternate timelines created through time travel, which was pretty advanced for the time, let alone for its target audience of 5-10 year-olds.

You may need to look up the definition of “hard sci-fi” because sentient robots with souls ain’t it.

Towards the end they were definitely pushing a more Cullen voice when he says “together as one”. It works

Looks fun. Maybe a little too shallow and childish, but I’d guess that’s the demographic they’re targeting because toys.

Why do you see what?

I think it is a matter of time before gasoline refilling will see outdated. How do I know if the pump works, how do I know if the gas is fresh, and how do I know if it will take my discount card?

And while it’s a relatively simple idea considering how connected modern electric vehicles are, it’s also one of those things that’s so obvious, it’s hard to understand why it isn’t already commonplace across the entire industry.

I’ve been hearing and am now in agreement. We did not EV tax Credits. We needed EV Infrastructure. Standardizing to the NACS plug for Level 1, Level 2, and DC Rapid Charging is the first step. But 80% charge at home. 20% do not. And 60% in total use Rapid Charging at least weekly.

Until you have more DC Rapid Chargers,

Range Energy is doing exactly that with Class 8 trailers. They have a battery pack, an electrically-driven axle and is controlled by the inputs from the trailer’s kingpin.

It would make sense but there is a lot of work to overcome the technical hurdles of connecting an additional battery resource cleanly to the existing EV supply.

It’s called knowing your customers.

That’s not fair, the Weiner Mobile might be the coolest vehicle ever made.

Even a Weinermobile would be cooler than what’s on there now.

My car gets about 20% less range with a small utility trailer so I am not surprised at the reduction but odd that the bigger one loses more- my wild ass guess would be aerodynamics
