I was intrigued yesterday by the description of the game in the review. I was engaged by your article. But then I got to the “Heck Your Desk” video near the end, and OHHH MAN am I jones’n something fierce for this game now! Why have I heard absolutely nothing about this game until yesterday?

See, the problem is the Twitters and Reddits (et Al.) of the world just won't be placated until there's a full scale real world test bed example to pull data from. Hell, drive down a concrete interstate and see how damaged and deformed the surface is from use and abuse, and why would you ever think plastic and other

Many of the variables were unknown - resin durability, tire noise, etc.

Just about anyone with an engineering background could have told you the outcome of this test. This is an example of an idea that was thought of by non-technical people, and greenlit by non-technical people.

Resin durability was absolutely known. This was an incredibly stupid idea right from jump. This was stupidity on par with “building the whole airplane out of the blackbox”.

I’m waiting for someone to claim that the government is suppressing the news about this breakthrough.

My confidence in bold claims is inversely proportional to the number of typos in the presentation.

Find the people who call these in, give them 10 years in jail. Fucking morons will get more people killed, directly through the homeowners or through the emergencies they're missing out on responding to this shit

While I generally agree, that isn’t always possible. For small towns and suburbs it can work pretty well. But for large suburbs and cities it becomes a numbers game.

Thankfully, this particular situation was quickly defused because one of the officers attending the incident lives in Bugha’s neighbourhood and recognised the teen.

Grazing cattle takes up a fuckload of land and is only doable in certain climates, and hence produces a very limited supply of meat before you have to start (A) chopping down forests to make more land for them to graze, hence causing habitat loss and wiping out all the animals who used to live in that forest, or (B)

Eh.. not really.

This.

This will actually get me into a Burger King for the first time in a bunch of years

Same for freebirds, I’ve switched to their beyond meat option and at Chipotle I also opt for sofritas.

Not the minifigs, not with the specialty pieces, and not for this price. This is half of what I thought the minimum price for this set would be.

I was literally discussing the Impossible Whopper with my sister when I opened this article, so my first thought was “why did Kevin get an Impossible Whopper at 11am?” forgetting that you’re not here on the west coast.

FWIW, by default the Impossible Whoppers are cooked on the same broiler as standard meat patties, but you can request a separate preparation surface — at least, according to the flyer I received promoting the Impossible Whopper that was tucked into the bag in my last order.

Tried an Impossible burger for the first time at the neighborhood bar this week and was floored by how close it was to a real beef burger in taste and texture. This will make me give Burger King a try, at least as an option on a road trip. (There are very few, if any Burger Kings in my city, and I’m on a road trip way
