Wow, that’s the nicest response to a rant I’ve ever had. I would definitely agree with the rest of your statement, as you make some good points. Like I said, I truely do like the 1st Gen T-Bird a lot. The inner Corvette fanboy in me just had to come out at that part :)

I know I’m probably greyed and look like a fanboy, but, really?? The Corvette being slow in 1957? Are you perhaps forgetting that Rochester fuel injection was introduced in ‘57, and that, in turn, resulted in 0-60 times of under 6 seconds (high 5s in most cases)? That was unheard of at the time.

Um, the hatchback came in ‘78, not ‘79. And, while the car did get polyurethane bumpers on both the front and the back in ‘74, ‘73 was the first year of polyurethane bumpers on the front.

Hyundai. Yes, Hyundai. LOL

FINALLY, someone said it. Thank you.

Lol, its definitely the first thing that popped into my mind.

Hell yes :D

Seriously? No mention of the C4 yet? Easily one of the best performance bargains. Not mention, it has killer looks and tons of 80's nostalgia. Here's a very solid '85 with about a day left and a top bid of $5,350.

Jesus I can't agree more. I Get shit from C5 guys every single time I drive my C4.

WUT

Also, how does one get un-greyed?

1986 Z51 Corvette. Currently has 71,500 miles, bought it with 68,000. It sat in a garage for years, only being driving maybe 4 times a year. So the entire car was clean as hell. Bought it with just about every penny I'd ever saved last year for $5800. First day I got it, the fuel pump died. Since she was acting up on

Christine is the best name for an 80's classic :D

Pretty sure you've never seen anything like this before.
