The only trailer trend I want to die are those trailer bumpers that preview the trailer before the trailer.

I like how they use YouTubers’ reaction shots as if those aren’t just as duplicitous as the trailers.

The whole “let’s take a popular song and MAKE IT SAD” thing is one of my least favorite trailer trends in recent years. Garbage.

Nope, there was hardly any running around at all. Every anime OP must feature gratuitous footage of each of the main characters randomly running around.

Hard to hold my suspension of disbelief. There isn’t nearly enough characters turning around to see something behind them, or reaching out for something intangible that is implied to be out of reach, or beginning to run a stretch of road/trail/railroad tracks for no discernible reason.

Would have preferred a more classic 80's style in terms of song choice.

Needs more main characters staring off into the distance with blank expressions on their faces, but yeah, pretty close. Also showing quick shots of each of the villains in rapid succession striking menacing poses before bringing the all together in a group shot.
