Well, that’s a very important lesson for kids to learn:

You know what you did

They’re called Merry Men, not Gritty & Serious Men.

No, the Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx one looks like a rip off of the Thief video game series.

Damnit, Hollywood, I didn’t say we need seven Robin Hood movies! I said we need a remake of Robin and the 7 Hoods!

Yeah, sure they are.

Disney still exists, ya know, so I’m sure they’ll fix that hole before anything actually falls through it.

Stop trying to make gritty Robin Hood flicks. It’s been done and honestly they did it better in that old 1980s British TV show. You know what were good Robin Hoods? The swashbuckling one with Errol Flynn where’s he jumping all over the place having fun and the Disney cartoon one with all the American rednecks and

it’s Tom Sawyer, Captain Nemo, and his pal Sinbad as begin their mission to find Moby Dick and Beowulf!

Can’t we just get the original idea for Nottingham before Ridley Scott dropped it, where the main character was the Sheriff of Nottingham and Robin Hood was a more morally ambiguous social bandit figure?

The only newish Robin Hood worth watching was the UK based (BBC? Ch4?) series that came out like 10 years ago. That one really captured the vibe of me and my brothers running through the woods pretending to be Robin Hood in the 80's.

There are going to be so many villages burned down in the name of title sequences...

Unlike some Robin Hoods, the new ones can speak with an English accent.

Somewhere in a Sony office:

Sony should get a Public Domain Cinematic Universe up and running.

One of them will be called Crazy Rich Sheriffs.

I think what’s cool is that out of seven projects, none of them seem like they’ll be good. That’s a pretty impressive ratio!

“a Robin Hood cinematic universe”

I like the version of Robin Hood that’s on TV right now and occasionally teams up with Supergirl and The Flash.

Taylor Swift.
