...and now I want that to exist.

That document is pretty impressive. There's a whole subplot about Ashley or Kaiden's spectre partner that gets cut, and Javik plays a bigger role — he was originally the catalyst. Not to mention a mission set on Omega; If this was all pulled out of a rough build (as opposed to a simple design document), then I expect

I demand a Zelda/Ace Attorney crossover immediately.

DEAR GOD. I went to the link because I thought "oh, maybe it's all tongue-in-cheek." THE TONGUES WERE IN MANY, NON-CHEEK PLACES.

Hey, do you happen to have a link to the leaked story? Or could you give me a synopsis? I had forgotten the leak even happened until someone mentioned it in the comments, but so far I haven't been able to find concrete details about the "original" story. It doesn't help that googling "leaked mass effect 3 ending"

There's a difference between "unfinished" and "finished in an unsatisfactory way." Seriously, most people wouldn't be complaining if only there were a couple more 2-to-3 minute long cutscenes. Hardly unfinished.

You already payed for an ending. And ending that you hated. So they're willing to sell you one you don't hate, which should delight you. Most stories do not offer do-overs. I didn't hate the ending, so don't say they designed it to be hated in order to sell DLC.

Don't listen to AnonUserAnonymous. I had 5,000+ and I got the Shep Lives ending. It only happens if you choose to destroy the Reapers. There may be other requirements (like preventing The Illusive Man from shooting Anderson in the head), but you can have as high an EMS as you want.

Same for me as well. I think it might be a glitch. Hackett even mentioned that the Salarians pledged their fleets, but it didn't show up in my war assets.

I played my Shepard as a by-the-book kind of guy. No fraternization. I actually avoided visiting Ashley in the hospital because I didn't want to accidentally romance her or something. The game definitely pushes romance subtext early on, with suspicious glances flying between everybody and Shepard speaking with more

I played as a Soldier because I wanted to be able to use all the guns in ME1 and for role-playing reasons. I didn't change game to game because it felt like cheating or something. I have another Vanguard Shep. Man, I really missed out on Biotics.

Dude. What. Since when is 40 (my logged time) hours "extreme shortness"? Most of the "lost time" is due to the decreased amount of scanning and the lack of driving around. I liked the tighter pacing for this installment (and again, 30-40 hours is not short).

One problem is immediately apparent: Renegade does not equal "Reaper friendly." Despite the mechanic's KOTOR origin, it's not analogous to "Light Side / Dark Side."

Never underestimate the diligence of a nerd in crisis.

This is like the opposite of doing that, since in most endings Shepard dies. The ending is surprisingly final for a series this profitable. I'm not saying that they won't make a DLC with different endings or "other adventures" or whatever, but purposefully making something you hope will alienate people in such a way

It acknowledges that nakedness exists.

You could probably pull off the hats, in the right context.

I'm thinking "Star Dogs."

Incest is inherently family-friendly.

It's not that big of a deal. The whole point of the name "Weylan-Yutani" was to invoke a renewed British industry (Weylan is derived from Leyland Motors) merging with the Japanese economic powerhouse (embodied by Yutani). Changing Weylan to Weyland just makes the reference clearer.
