I haven't read the book, so I'm glad to hear this. I really like Vaugn's Y: The Last Man and Ex Machina, but having no notion of the story of UtD's story beyond what's on the cover, I was worried he was getting unduly saddled with one of King's oft-maligned "Recent Works."
