Oh no! We know about a specific fetch quest! THE GAME IS RUINED!

"Humans are the real monsters" is the running theme in almost every modern zombie movie and game. How have you not noticed this? The "Woo! Zombie Apocalypse!" sentiment is more of a internet fandom thing.

On the plus side, I remembered that this game existed.

I learned that from Sim City. Huzzah for dissemination of civil engineering principles in mass-market games!

You definitely use the word "sheeple" like I expect a hacker would.

We can only hope that Dustin Hoffman emerges from seclusion to lead the world against disease.

I have a hard time watching the movie because I died so much in the game.

I remember the phrase "sub-species of man inhabits the air ducts."

I've seen that before, but...my God. That's some fever dreams of a madman stuff right there.

Well, now I see that. Thanks.

It took me a really long time (like, last month) to notice the really obvious parallels between Harry Potter and Batman. Then again, if Bruce had gotten an invite to Hogwarts we would still get an awesome wizard. If Harry Potter had been raised by his family's butler we probably wouldn't end up with an English

The thing of it is, there are people who would actually do that. It can be hard to determine hyperbole in geekdom.

Fine, go and ruin my hypothesis that the movie was going to be quasi-based on Cataclysm, with the League of Shadows causing an earthquake based solely on an earthquakey-looking teaser poster.

I blame Hemingway.

NOW I KNOW WHAT THIS IS CALLED! I saw it on TV as a kid and had no idea how to find it.

Well, sure. The question of "what exactly causes nuclear winter" came up after watching this video when it got posted awhile back. I hadn't realized the sheer number of nuclear weapons testing that occurred in those years, in a relatively short span of time.

This is one of my favorite things.

Hell, by rights Health and Human Services should have condemned Hogwarts years ago. Not to mention that more than a few assessors would love to get a look at their books. Dumbledore probably just faked his death rather than get thrown in the clink for tax evasion.
