Good god.
Good god.
It wasn't until recently that I found out that there's nothing intrinsic to nuclear fission that causes "nuclear winter" — rather, it's simply the burning of things on a massive scale. An io9 commenter had to enlighten me. The idea that the remains of civilization would out the sun is absolutely horrific.
That is one of my favorite gifs ever. God bless you, Dancevald Copsocks.
Iä! Iä! Cease and Desist!
I remember getting Chuck Yeager's Air Combat when I was a kid, followed promptly by the disappointing realization that it didn't work on my computer. I was too young to figure out the comparability issues it had with my family's then-new Windows 1995 computer. I never did get to play it.
Oh, cool, looks like they're filming the Israel scenes. I'm actually surprised. That was one of my favorite parts of the book, but I wasn't sure how much international stuff the movie would feature. Sure, it's World War Z, but there's enough US stuff (with maybe some Chinese "Patient Zero/initial outbreak" scenes) to…
Nice.
We don't know for certain he's even retrieving Frodo for Sauron.
Works fine for me (Chrome on Windows 7).
I was all excited that this was going to show off a blue sky or a forest retreat or something. I FEEL LIED TO.
I mean, doesn't it make sense for a company that sells movie-making products to showcase that product in a movie? My point is, it never pretended that it wasn't a commercial.
I'm actually pretty excited about the characters. Not that it's necessarily ground breaking or anything, but based on this small sample I think I'll enjoy playing as Booker and watching him interact with Elizabeth.
I know where you're coming from, but oddly enough I didn't really notice in during the video (despite having read this before watching the clip). Lucky for me, I guess.
Beat me to it.
Doesn't "viral" denote that its source is obscured? The logo of the company is right there at the beginning.
I kinda got used to having it around.
Now that you mention it, Captain America has been a bit undermarketed. Well, maybe it's just at the right amount of marketing, and I can no longer tell because I'm used to complete saturation.
I have a hard cover edition of that book! I've spent the last 15 years not reading it.
Agreed. I had to close my eye for a moment.
