One of the reasons that the movie is "The one so many people have tried hard to forget" is because it was so unlike Final Fantasy. It put off a lot of fans. As for everyone else, well, graphics aside it was just "okay."

Something similar happened with Finding Nemo. The team had to tone down the water effects because the water's realism detracted from the feel of the rest of the designs. Something similar might have happened during production of Spirits Within. To be honest, I highly doubt it was that the human models looked too real.

Parker and Stone's "America" is a weird beast. It's simultaneously satirical and earnest. Yes, sometimes (or oftentimes) dumb patriotism is overdone or invoked at the wrong time. Other times, one just wants to high five everyone around them.

It's so rare for a song to be simultaneously satirical and absolutely earnest.

I agree! Other countries can have their own namesake heroes if they want. The tagline doesn't say "only made in America."
