Courts don’t declare people innocent. They declare them “not guilty,” meaning the case wasn’t proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I don’t have any of these issues, but I’ve had to deal with the fallout from them.

Yeah i agree but all situations require tact along with honesty. Give it a day or two and then gently bring it up. To bring it up probably within an hour of playing is obviously gonna hurt. At least if you do it after a day or two it will feel like you gave it a fair shake and they would understand.

Personally I’ve always considered Sanderson more of the shonen manga of fantasy books, since stuff like DBZ and One Piece is very much about power progression.  The whole connected universe of cosmere does make it very similar to the MCU of fantasy books.

Oh, and I forgot to add: of course you’re a real girl (though I’m sure you don’t need a stranger to tell you that) and your ex can to hell for being such a piece of shit.

And ruining a great movie!

Calling Sanderson’s work the MCU of fantasy books is wildly overgenerous, yet does have some truth in it.

Not a game, but I can’t enjoy Howl’s Moving Castle anymore as it was followed up immediately mere minutes after with my abusive ex emotionally abusing me and telling me I’ll never be a real girl and she was kicking me out of her apartment (I was 6 hours by plane from my home state). Luckily one of my besties let me

I like Sanderson’s books, they’re definitely popular because they’re accessible and competently delivered as opposed to dazzling the reader with prose but there’s no shame in being the MCU of fantasy books.

Who could have possibly predicted that minimum 90 hour work weeks, four generations under one roof, and being unable to afford a place to live on your own would possibly have depressed the ability of people to have, raise, or afford a family!?

Yes, I know the tweet was probably a joke, but...

It’s just not an action game like you’d expect Bayonetta to be. It’s very story/puzzle driven with some light combat. I didn’t think it was too exciting either but the story got me in the feels. Worth a play if the price goes down and you are interested in the characters.

Maybe Japanese women are tired of giving up their careers and life outside the Japanese home...or maybe it is just too expensive to have children now. But no, those are not the real reasons, it is because they haven’t played the right video game.

Honestly when it comes to Resident Evil and skirts the only thing I want to know is why Jill was wearing a mini skirt and halter top in the original RE3. It’s not like she was going out on a date when the outbreak occurred; she had spent days preparing to escape Raccoon City and zombies had already started showing up

I’d say the most controversial change is stuffing the game with microtransactions and live service bullshit in an effort to create a perpetual money machine for sex criminal executives.

and many felt that train came off the rails starting with 2001’s Final Fantasy X”

Ya know who isn’t Japanese? Epic Games and their Unreal Engine...which was basically the only scalable way to make quality games in the seventh gen and onward without a $50m budget and a team of 500.

Nintendo basically is sort of an island in this example, which I appreciate you pointing out. They maintained being isolated to a single platform... which was good and bad for multiple reasons - great first and second party support, poor third party support.

FF13 “failed” because Lightning is a trash waifu insert character and the player was railroaded through most of it.

Surprised to see TD Jakes portrayed so positively in this article. I always assumed he was just another megachurch pastor conman.
